Tapas and beer

CleopatraOther stuff

Another bright and sunny start to our day, though after a cheeky lay in! Coffee up the playa, no wind this morning so sitting soaking up the sunshine people watching. There’s a lot of dogs being walked, with their hilarious jackets and hoodies on and many folks running up and down the beach.
Out to town for lunch, meeting up with my folks Spanish Friends. I’m picking up the lingo and can follow most of their conversations but don’t ask me to speak it!
Tapas bar number one on the sea front, ordered what i thought was cheese and ham. Turned out to be fried egg and ham, pretty yummy but according to the locals a bit pricy. But they did have wifi, so i’ve managed to upload some pics to facebook

Cabina del Tio Tom We relocate to Cabina del Tio Tom just along the playa. A mega que outside so it must be worth waiting for. We were’nt disappointed! 2 euros for beer and tapas, jeepers each tapas was like a mini meal in itself. From palma ham and fish, prawns and cheeses, to chorizo hamburger pork and fries, oh and a cheeky whisky tart to finish. 3 rounds for five of us came to 42euro. Not only was the food fab but the staff were efficient and polite too, and the toilets weren’t that shabby either 😉
Needless to say we made the most of our awesome little find, and stayed for a while exchanging tales in our Spanglish.
Lucia got wind of my love for penguins and decided she’d do my nails (a first for me!).
