Two divers who went missing off the Pembrokeshire coast, sparking a major sea search, have been found.
Milford Haven Coastguard said the two men, both in their 50s, had not been seen since leaving a diveboat at Strumble Head, Pembrokeshire.
It is understood they are conscious and are currently in a rescue helicopter being taken to a hospital where there is a decompression chamber.
They were found by an RAF rescue helicopter.
The search, which started at 1730 BST, was taking place around Strumble Head near Fishguard. Four lifeboats from Fishguard and St David’s were searching the area, along with the helicopter.
St David’s lifeboat spokesman Jim Phillips said the men had not been seen since at 1455 BST when they were dropped off by their diveboat.
The alarm was raised when the men failed to make contact with the vessel a few hours later.”
