Big Compass Jellyfish in the Blue Lagoon

Cleopatra Pembrokeshire

While Coasteering last week we spotted this big compass jellyfish swimming near the towers in the Blue Lagoon, Abereiddy Pembrokeshire.
Luckily jellyfish just swim, they don’t chose where or how fast, they just swim or wallow in the currents. These guys can pack a nasty sting, so are best given a wide berth.
Did you know that the endangered leatherback turtle eats them?
